How did you find out about Dragon Ball?

So, I'll start off by sharing my story. I'm not 100% sure if this was my first encounter with the show but it's the earliest I remember.

When I was young my grandmother bought me some dbz figures. At the time I didn't know who they were but I always thought they were cool looking. I had Gogeta, Vegetto, Trunks, and Goten. This was when the figures released were way ahead of the dub, so I didn't meet these characters til I was much older. From there, I went to blockbuster and rented the Ocean "Arrival" vhs (which was the first few episodes.) I've been a fan ever since!
